All the Fall Activities Moline IL Residents Love in One Place
Some activities are just meant for a specific season. In the summer, it’s swimming and sunbathing. In the winter, it’s sledding and snowball fights. And in the fall, it’s pumpkin carving, hayrack rides and trips to the orchard. For over 70 years, Tanners Orchard has been a place families can go to get that full-fall experience. Not only do we have all the attractions of a regular orchard, but we also have several elements that are unique to us, including our Farm Market, Apple Bin Bakery and Back 40 Fun Acres. These three things, along with the events we host throughout the year, make us a prime destination for fall activities near Moline IL.
Annual Events
Every fall, the Tanners team organizes a handful of events. Many of these are so well-loved that they’ve become a tradition individuals anticipate year after year. Some of our most popular annual events are our Sunflower Experience, Sunflower, S’mores and More Event and our Peach & Pancake Breakfast.
- Sunflower Experience – When making a bucket list of fall activities near Moline IL, visiting a sunflower field should be toward the top. Thanks to Tanner’s Annual Sunflower Festival, that’s a box you can easily tick off. This event begins with breakfast among the flowers. After which, you will be free to explore, take pictures and pick one of your choice.
- Sunflower, S’mores and More – As fun as family activities are, sometimes it’s nice to have a night away from the kids. Luckily, you can have just that at our Sunflower, S’mores and More event—a night where you can cook hotdogs and s’mores around a campfire, grab a delicious drink from our cash bar and play on the playground just like you’ve always wanted to.
- Peach & Pancake Breakfast – Our Peach & Pancake Breakfast occurs two days a year, which is two days you can eat as many peaches and pancakes as your heart desires. We also sample some of our other peach products at this event, so be sure to come with an appetite!
